I was told when we went to drop my car key off that they were a week out, which was no big deal, but they had my vehicle fixed in 2 days. They were very professional and thorough and went beyond my expectations to make sure they checked everything and the pricing blew my mind. I was fully expecting to pay anywhere from 2 to 3 thousand and with replacing the starter, a front u joint, and replacing the 4 wheel drive wires(which had been chewed through by rodents) it was just under 1 thousand to fix and I couldn't believe it! Super reasonable prices. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the customer! I would definitely recommend Auto Specialists to anyone needing vehicle repairs from now on! Very professional 5 star rating every time.

I have an obscure vehicle make and model. My vehicle randomly shut down on me and would start but immediately die. Took it to my regular shop, they had it for 2 weeks calling all of their "specialists" and eventually quoted me for a new ECM for $2,000. Took it to auto specialists and within 2.5 hours of looking at it, it was completely fixed for under $300.

Randy & his crew was awesome dealing with the mysterious issues with my wife's jeep. They got it figured out and Randy even met us on a day they were closed just so we could get her back into wheels. I think we found our new trusted garage.

Randy was very kind and didn’t promise any guarantees, but would try to get to my car that same day. I was ultimately able to get my car in just past noon and they were able to finish the repairs right at the end of the day. Tremendous service and very timely.

Randy is great to work with, and they usually get me in fairly quickly, depending on what I need done and the availability of the parts. Prices are reasonable. And the work is done well.

Randy and his guys are the best mechanics out there!! Had an electrical issue with my 03 Pilot that 2 shops couldn't figure out, even the dealership had no idea where the problem was coming from . Took a couple visits and a circuit breaker, and Randy was able to find and fix the problem that no one else could! I will now only take my cars to Auto Specialists!

My car starter went out on Friday night. I had it towed to Auto Specialists on Saturday. I called Randy on Monday and asked if he could work it in because I did not have an appointment. I told him there was absolutely no hurry. He called me on Tuesday, it was the starter, it was fixed and done by 4 PM and Randy apologized for the delay. You will not find a nicer guy or a more honest shop in all of the city. They are the best!

They had my jeep for 1 day ...fixed sooooo maby problems it had ...now its like a brand new jeep again ....id advise this place to everyone ...awesome place ... awesome people ....will always have my autos an my business !!

First time ever writing one of these up, but these folks went above and beyond, so I am trying to give credit where it is due.

I have had car trouble for months visiting numerous mechanics, around Omaha with no success. Skip everywhere else, these guys are the best.

These guys are hardworking, competent, and most of all honest. I was informed every step of the way including pros and cons of different fixes, and multiple repairs we could undertake.

The final cost even came slightly UNDER what I was initially quoted, because they were able to repair some parts they previously thought would have to be replaced.

Additionally, kudos for excellent customer service. When I brought my car in, I was in a bit of an automotive emergency. Eric at the front desk said they were booked out for several days, but if I left my car, and by some miracle something happened he would see what they could do. Lo and behold I had my car the next day. Even if you have to wait a week, these guys are worth it because you can trust them. I’ll be going back for all my automotive needs.

Randy and his team provide excellent customer service and fair pricing for their auto work. My truck had some brake issues and even though they didn't have any availability to service for 3-4 weeks, Randy said swing on by, so he could take a look and hear what is going on. After a test drive and inspection the repairs were deemed time sensitive and he opened up his schedule to fit me in right away. The lot was packed with cars so I knew they were really busy. I will definitely be using Auto Specialist in the future for any needed service work, great people.

I was quoted $1900 for one wheel bearing, rear brakes, and a muffler on my 2000 Buick Lesabre at another shop(won't say names to avoid drama). Auto Specialists has been helping members of my extended family for years so I scheduled an appointment with Randy for a second look. Two days before my appointment, my power steering dropped out so I babied it over to Auto Specialists and left it with them. Within 2 days, it had been looked at, and I was given a substantially lower quote from Auto Specialists for them to take care of more and keep me on the road. What a life saver! This is the only place I will take a vehicle in Omaha from now on. Honest, friendly, and trustworthy.

My car will sometimes stall in idle so I towed my car over to the shop. As a person who doesn't know a lot about cars, I appreciated that Randy didn't charge me when they couldn't find a significant problem with my car. I will definitely bring my car back in the future if new problems arise.

Randy is an exceptional person to talk to. He's personable, and very kind. I had an antifreeze problem with my aging pickup, and I gave these guys a call. I described my issue and asked when I could take it in to have it looked at. It was a Monday, and I was told they could look at it on Wednesday. I had classes and work all day then, so I brought it in later on Monday. They were finished much earlier than I expected, a day early in fact. Their prices were very fair. It didn't feel like I was being serviced when I was talking to the guys at the front desk. It felt like I was being helped by people who genuinely care. That is something very rare to experience at a mechanic. I'll be suggesting Auto Specialists Inc to anybody I know with car trouble in the future.

I've been taking my vehicles to Randy at Auto Specialists Inc. for years. I don't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic. He's friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and honest.

Our daughter is in college in Omaha and we live in Lincoln. She recently had some trouble with her Mazda and we initially took it to the dealer. We were told repairs would be $900 - $1000 then $1400 - $1500. We drove the car to Auto Specialists and dropped it off Tuesday after hours. By 3PM Wednesday the car was repaired for less than $200. Talking to Randy on the phone felt comfortable and honest. Saved us several hundred dollars. He even offered to look at the problem area every couple of months if our daughter would just stop by with the vehicle. It is very refreshing to find this kind of service for our daughter's vehicle. 

I had a difficult time just to have someone look at my car without it being "dropped off".  Im a single chick, with a relatively small issue, my car was squealing, i cant afford even an uber right now. Randy was sooooo awesome, i missed my first appointment, didnt realize how much time that would cost him. We rescheduled, i was on (early) on time, my car was fixed as i was waiting. I was charged a very fair price. He reminds me of someone of who is taking care of me, not someone that is trying to take advantage of people. He is very personable. There was also 10 people within an hour waiting after me, he didnt stress, he was very kind to everyone. A real man/dad. Id recommend this place most definitely due to Randy.

I've gone to Randy and the guys for about 15 years now.  Even when we had moved about 45 minutes and two towns away.  Excellent service and they always do a great job on my car.  When I have an emergency, Randy always gets me in pretty quick.  I've always felt like I've gotten a decent deal with his techs.  I even go to him for all my tires and my oil changes.

I have always had problems with shoddy mechanics. The experience I've had here over the past couple years has been nothing like before. They are friendly, quick, and very reasonably priced. They are the types of mechanics who will be completely honest with you about fixing things that need to be fixed, and not fixing things that don't need to be fixed. I had my breaks changed and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was working correctly, and put my safety first in my situation. I truly appreciate their service and doubt I would be willing to take my car anywhere else.

Randy and his team did an OUTSTANDING job with my daughter's 06 Toyota Corolla. Randy was $100 less then other shops. My daughter is reporting her car runs great! Randy replaced the intake manifold gasket. To Randy...just another day. 

I do as much of my own auto repair as I can. When it's something I don't have the time or skill to tackle, I take it to Auto Specialists. I've been taking vehicles there for around 5 years, and they've consistently been honest, helpful, and reasonable. I've used them for minor and major work, including rebuilding a transmission. There have been several times when the problem turned out to be a cheap and simple fix, and they were straight with me instead of seizing the opportunity to make up a problem and charge me more. They've proven themselves to be trustworthy and do quality work.

Randy and the rest of the crew here are great. I'm just a shmuck from Hawaii who knows nothing about cars and he helped repair my car quickly and proficiently at a very generous price.

This place is worth its weight in gold.  Honest, ethical good people.  I work with two large families that have generations of people that take their cars here.  They recently did the exact same thing to my car that my dealership wanted to do and did it for $500 less!  I was so happy I almost cried.   The only thing to remember is that they are generally 1 to 1.5 weeks out for appointments, which is a good sign, a busy shop is a good shop.  It's so worth the wait.  I'm a life time convert.

Best auto repair shop in Omaha.  Fair prices and honest work.

I promised myself to tell this story as often as possible.  I took my 2009 F-150 into a competitor last week for an oil change (The competitor rhymes with Jenson Tire).  As Jenson usually does, they "suggested" a few other services that they felt should be done along with the cost for each service.  One service that I felt needed to be done right away was replacing the tranny pan, filter, and gasket.  The company I work for does business on occasion with Auto Specialists and my boss suggested I call Randy.   Randy seems to be very personable and honest.  We talked over the phone about the service and he gave me a quote.  Without knowing what Jensen quoted me, Randy came in $98 cheaper.  And they had it ready to pick up before noon.  My truck runs so much better now, and my wallet feels a little better as well.  Randy will ALWAYS get first crack at my business going forward.

Randy is the only honest one out there. I had a part he replaced that was 2 months over its warranty and Randy replaced it because 'it was the right thing to do'. I didn't even complain, he just said that. That is the kind of place this is.

This was the most amazing car place I have worked with!  I got a flat tire the night before leaving on vacation.  Not only did they fix my tire, but they also let my car stay there until I returned from my vacation.  Was ready when I got there and no issues what so ever!  Highly recommended to anyone with car needs!

I went to Auto Specialists after a few of my friends raved about their service. I was going to a dealership and the dealer's service center said my brakes needed replacing because they were at 15 percent. Randy and company looked at my brakes and said they were at least 50 percent and didn't need replacing. That is the reason I continue to go there. Not only will they tell you in plainspoken terms what needs to be repaired, but just as important, what doesn't need repair. My car just passed 200,000 and I forsee putting another 100,000 on it. I couldn't have done it without these guys. I will not go anywhere else. 

Prices seem good and I've never had a problem with their work. I've taken both my cars there for a couple of years.  The last time I was there, the spent a lot of extra time to figure out a tricky, recurring problem.  And didn't charge beyond the initial diagnosis fee.

Fast, friendly, honest. My sister came here and paid more than she'd hoped for repairs - and they called her back to let her know she'd actually been overcharged. They refunded her without being asked. They're not pushy about extra services or unnecessary repairs, they're extremely knowledgeable, and they are NOT condescending - which can be rare in this business. I felt appreciated and respected the entire time I was there and I will absolutely be returning with any and all auto requests. Great people, great business. 

An amazing auto repair shop! Randy and his guys are so honest! I have gone there a few times with recommendations for repairs from dealerships and oil change shops that range from 400-2000 dollars and leave being charge either nothing, because nothing needed to be done, or for a 100 dollar part. I have my whole family going there now and Randy remembers us by name, even though we only see him about twice a year. I rave to everyone I see after a visit and just wish I could get the word out even more!

The BEST service shop there is! They are honest with their customers, won't do any work they feel is unneccesary, even if you think that you need it.
